Hybrid parents: Daphne julia(e) x Daphne giraldii

becomes 0,25 m high and 0,5 m wide / deciduous / hardy / scented / prefers a sunny position

leaves look like those of Daphne giraldii but smaller / very interesting habit / flower buds have a dark red colour and give an almost metallic impression / inflorescence is terminal on a new shoot / very rich branching and therefore also extremely rich flowering / flower colour is a pale pink to nearly white and can change from blossom to blossom / flower tube is greenish-red

This Daphne hybrid shall have the name Daphne x ‘In Paradise’ -from German ‘Im Paradies’, it is the name of a beautiful little street through the forested valley of the ‘Vogelsangbachtal - in in my hometown Heiligenhaus.
